Perino

Nature’s rarest fibres. Expertly spun in New Zealand. Designed to inspire.

Perino begins with Brushtail Possum Down, an exceptionally light, soft and naturally warm fibre found only in New Zealand.

Recovered as part of efforts to protect New Zealand’s native forests, this distinctive fibre is blended with some of the world’s finest natural fibres, including ZQ Merino, cashmere, silk and camel down.

For more than 80 years, Woolyarns has brought together specialist fibres and generations of spinning knowledge. From our fully integrated mill in New Zealand, we carefully develop and spin each Perino yarn to preserve the natural character of the fibres and create something truly distinctive.

The result is a collection of beautifully soft, lightweight and warm yarns, created to give designers new possibilities in knitwear.
