40% Cashmere, 40% Brushtail Possum Down, 20% Mulberry Silk. Available in 2/28Nm, 2/36Nm, or Chainlink 1/2.3Nm (nylon reinforced for added stability).

Cirrus offers a more refined expression of the Perino blend. The high cashmere content gives it a clean, elevated handle, while Brushtail possum down delivers exceptional warmth without adding weight. Mulberry silk introduces a subtle sheen and helps the yarn fall with a smooth, controlled drape. It’s particularly suited to garments where softness and finish are critical — lightweight knits, next-to-skin pieces, and silhouettes that rely on fluidity rather than structure.

Fine Cashmere [WS]

Traditionally, cashmere is one of the ultra-luxury fibres of the world. We too are captivated by the pure beauty and extreme softness of cashmere fibres. That is why our dedicated sourcing team have established long-term relationships securing 15.2 micron Mongolian cashmere fibre to be used in only our most premium of blends.

Brushtail Possum Down [AF]

Our Brushtail Possum fibre is sourced from carefully selected regions throughout New Zealand only at certain times during the year. We use a specialised dehairing technique to refine the fibre, resulting in ultra-lightweight, downy fibres that average 16.5 microns in thickness. This exceptional fibre adds a new level of softness and uniqueness to every blend we create.

Mulberry Silk [SE]

The distinctive triangular structure of each individual Mulberry Silk fibre strikes you with a lustre second to none. Experiencing the seductive softness of 11 micron fibres demands your attention as well. With over 6,000 years of history it is no wonder silk is considered a timeless classic of the luxury textile world. Our dedicated team source only the most premium grade of OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified Mulberry Silk from China, the birthplace of silk to be sparingly added to our luxury blends of yarns.

Nylon Polyamide [PA]

Woolyarns source Nylon 66 and add a small amount to selected blended yarns. It offers strength, durability and stretchability without sacrificing softness or handle and provides superior longevity for garments.
